2020 Personal Art Show and Sale

Hi to all my clients, collectors and friends,

I have been thinking for a while about how I could host my 5th Annual Art Show and Sale at Associates in Dermatology this November. Unfortunately, COVID restrictions/rules for any event, but especially for one at a medical office are just not conducive to an enjoyable event. I am, therefore, reluctantly postponing the Art Show to a (hopefully) more relaxed time in the spring of 2021.

The good news is that during this fall and holiday season I am more than happy to work with anyone who would like to make an appointment to meet me at the office after hours (including weekends) to preview/purchase art that I have for sale.

As you know, this is my only sales event and I would enjoy meeting you on a more personal level than my yearly art show allows.

My website will continue to include new work, and be sure to check out my blog while you’re there.

You can always contact me directly online as well as text or call me at 757-846-3650.

SAVE THE DATE – Studio Art Display and Sale

Many of you have attended my studio art parties in the past.  They were fun but sadly restricted in size. Something had to be done.

This year I have decided to host a special art event at my husband’s office, Associates in Dermatology (17 Manhattan Square in Hampton – directions). I’ll be sharing my art as well as some refreshments on Friday, November 13, 2015 from  5:30- 8:00 PM.  This will be LUCKY FRIDAY for attendees with special discounts on art that night. Be sure to save the date!

Hope you can join me.

RSVP at 838-8030 (office) or 846-3650 (my cell) would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to forward this to everyone who is interested.

P.S.  I will also have sketches and smaller paintings done during my time as Artist in Residence at the Virginia Living Museum with some of proceeds going back to VLM.

Come Visit the Virginia Living Museum for Some Animal Art

The art was all hung by the chimney with care . . . wait that’s the wrong song.  Actually the animal art is hanging in the hallway to the left of the gift shop – if you’re visiting the Virginia Living Museum  (VLM – www.thevlm.org).

The new show includes animal art done onsite during demos since November 2013 . I’ve been the artist in residence at the VLM for over a year now.  It’s been a great experience interacting with the visiting students, parents and families as well as painting the live animals.

The majority of the pieces are framed 8×10 and 11×14 acrylics on canvas and are priced at a discount to visitors, staff, and volunteers. In addition to the great prices, a portion of sales goes to support the Virginia Living Museum.

The Virginia Living Museum is a great outing while school is out for Christmas.  Parents and children of all ages can find so much to do there (especially on a rainy or cold winter day in Hampton Roads).

My Paintings in Promotion Video

One of the sponsors for the Nansemond-Suffolk Art Show put together a promotion video.  My paintings have a cameo appearance in the video, but I’m glad to have been included.  The art show continues through February 2, 2014.  It’s a big fundraiser for the school, but is also a local art event with 150 different artists.
